We divert agriculture waste (wheat straw, corn husks, cotton seed hulls) from being burned and dumped to produce mushrooms and mushroom foods. We purchase and collect the organic waste and use it as a substrate (growing medium) for growing gourmet mushrooms. We then partner directly with smallholder farmers to increase our own production and eliminate supply chain inefficiencies. At harvest, we purchase, store and process the fresh mushrooms into healthy and nutritious mushroom products for sell to local supermarket retailers. We recycle the leftover organic substrate from mushroom cultivation into an organic soil amendment to improve soil fertility.
