Looking to learn to grow oyster (gourmet) mushrooms?

Join us for a busy full day hands-on training on oyster mushroom cultivation and a farm tour on Saturday, 18 February from 9 am to 4 pm.

This practical workshop will take you through the details of oyster mushroom growing from spawn to market to help get you started growing right. This training is a combination of theory and practical learning.

Your Instructor:

Kundai Musarurwa is an award-winning farmer who has trained in mushroom cultivation in South Africa and locally. She has been training farmers in mushroom cultivation since 2014.

She is on a mission to make you apply your learning about spawn and spawning, substrate preparation, incubation, growing, harvesting and more.

Course Fees:

$35 if you prepay, and $40 if you pay on the day of the training. Your course fees include lunch, tea and a manual.

About the Venue:

The training workshop will be held at Musarurwa Farm, SDG Chiremba Road, Ruwa.

Musarurwa Farm is a mixed use farm, with enterprises ranging from maize, vegetables, broiler chickens and pork.
